As an operational heritage railway we offer multiple opportunities to train and volunteer in operational roles.
From working on our Stations and dealing with customers, managing the safe dispatch of our trains, travelling as Ticket Inspector on our services, training as a Guard, learning Signalling right through to becoming a Driver.
We can offer an enjoyable, social experience - a unique way of learning new skills and developing new friendships - volunteering is great way to keep physically fit and mentally alert.
These roles make a real impact on our customers enjoyment of their visit.
Light Lunch provided. Free travel on our trains (certain exceptions apply to special events)
