You will work as an advisor in the central Norwich Foodbank at Chantry Hall. It is open Wednesdays 10 - 12 and Saturdays 10 - 11:30pm.

About the Role
As a Foodbank Advisor, you will provide a warm, confidential, and impartial drop-in service for people visiting the foodbank.
Duties include:
- Greeting clients face-to-face to discuss immediate questions around benefits, essential services, or cost-of-living concerns.
- Identifying clients who need deeper financial guidance and booking them in for follow-up sessions with our specialist Money Mentors.
- Providing clear, sensitive information to help clients figure out their next steps.
Who We’re Looking For
- Compassionate & Attentive: Excellent listening and communication skills, with a comfortable approach to supporting people from all backgrounds.
- Organised & Adaptable: Comfortable using IT to search for information for clients, book in appointments and make notes on the client database.
- No prior experience required. Full training will be provided.
