Love social media? Volunteer with Norwich Unity Hub creating posts, photos and videos that showcase our community and make a real difference.
Social Media Volunteer
Norwich Unity Hub is seeking a volunteer to support the development of our social media presence and help raise awareness of the work taking place across our vibrant community at Carrow House.
This flexible role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in charity communications and digital marketing while making a meaningful contribution to a local organisation. Working alongside our Business Development Manager and Trustee responsible for Social Media Strategy, you will help create engaging content that showcases the charities, social enterprises, artists and community organisations based at the Hub.
The role may include:
- Creating and scheduling content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Taking photographs and producing simple video content for social media
- Promoting events, activities and achievements across the Hub
- Helping to grow and engage our online community
- Working with staff, trustees and members to capture stories that demonstrate the impact of Norwich Unity Hub
We are looking for someone with an interest in social media, good written communication skills and a creative approach to storytelling. Previous experience managing social media accounts would be beneficial but is not essential if you are enthusiastic and willing to learn.
The role requires a commitment of approximately three hours per week and can be carried out flexibly. While applicants based in or near Norwich are preferred, to enable occasional content creation at Carrow House, we also welcome applications from volunteers who can support us remotely.
By volunteering with Norwich Unity Hub, you will help increase awareness of our work, celebrate the achievements of our members and support a growing community dedicated to collaboration, creativity and positive social impact.
