We are looking for kind and compassionate volunteers to support our Care Choices project supporting patients who live in the Wymondham area.
In your role as a Care Choices volunteer you will assist patients and families navigate the challenges of the end of life process by:
- Providing information and support.
- Help reduce stress and anxiety.
- Clarify options available to people.
From understanding emotional needs to navigating end of life conversations we will be with you every step of the way with training and support.

Priscilla Bacon Lodge has provided Specialist Palliative Care to people around Norfolk for 40 years. The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge opened in September 2023 and is home to a state-of-the-art palliative care unit. It has been built on an 8-acre site adjacent to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Century Place Colney Norwich NR4 7YA. As well as inpatient beds, a day unit and a wellbeing centre, the Lodge will act as hub for community-based services, enabling people to receive care in their own homes.
