PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) Tester required to test donated electrical items in accordance with health and safety standards. Flexible hours.
Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity is looking for a Volunteer PAT Tester to join our friendly warehouse team. You'll help ensure donated electrical items are safe for sale by carrying out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
You'll need to be a qualified electrician. Previous PAT testing experience is desirable, but full training in our processes can be provided.
This is a rewarding opportunity to use your expertise to help raise vital funds.
You will be required to:
- visually inspect the donated electrical goods
- conduct Pass/Fail PAT tests using our in-house testing equipment
- label the items securely and identifying items that cannot be sold
- ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
