The mealtime Support Volunteer will enhance the mealtime experience for patients by helping patients prepare for, and delivering meals on the inpatient unit
The aim of the mealtime Assistant Volunteer is to play an important role in enhancing the mealtime experience for patients by providing support to the patients and catering team helping to create a positive, comfortable dining environment. Volunteer’s will help patients prepare for meals, help patients receive their meals in a timely manner, and support the smooth running of meal services on the inpatient unit. Your contribution will help improve patient satisfaction and wellbeing while ensuring mealtimes are organised and efficient. 4pm-7pm Monday -Sunday.

Priscilla Bacon Lodge has provided Specialist Palliative Care to people around Norfolk for over 40 years. The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge is home to a state-of-the-art palliative care unit. It has been built on an 8-acre site adjacent to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Century Place Colney Norwich NR4 7YA. As well as inpatient beds, a day unit and a wellbeing centre, the Lodge is a hub for community-based services, enabling people to receive care in their own homes. The 8-acre site has given the unique opportunity of delivering the landscape, garden, formal gardens and a wildflower meadow.
