Volunteer Driver Priscilla Bacon Lodge

Are you a compassionate and reliable driver looking to give back to your community? Priscilla Bacon Lodge is seeking volunteer drivers to help transport patients between their homes and the Lodge for appointments and group activities.

What you’ll do:

• Drive patients safely and comfortably to and from Priscilla Bacon Lodge.
• Offer a reassuring presence and friendly conversation during journeys.
• Build regular, supportive relationships with patients.
• Help reduce stress and isolation for those undergoing palliative care.

What we’re looking for:

• A clean driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• A warm, empathetic nature and good communication skills.
• Commitment to regular volunteering (e.g., a minimum of one morning or afternoon per week).
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check and basic training.
