The Inpatient Unit Volunteer plays a vital role in supporting the overall experience of patients, families, and visitors. This role is designed to complement the work of clinical staff by offering compassionate companionship, non-clinical practical assistance, and a welcoming presence within the unit.

About Priscilla Bacon Lodge NCHC NHS Trust

Priscilla Bacon Lodge has provided Specialist Palliative Care to people around Norfolk for over 40 years. The new Priscilla Bacon Lodge is home to a state-of-the-art palliative care unit. It has been built on an 8-acre site adjacent to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. Century Place Colney Norwich NR4 7YA. As well as inpatient beds, a day unit and a wellbeing centre, the Lodge is a hub for community-based services, enabling people to receive care in their own homes. The 8-acre site has given the unique opportunity of delivering the landscape, garden, formal gardens and a wildflower meadow.
