Get involved with our entry. Create a costume inspired by Norwich's biodiversity and parade through the city wearing it.

This year’s theme is “Wild About Norwich” — and we’re absolutely ready to go wild!

We’re inviting participants of all ages, from little humans to fully grown humans to represent an iconic animal or plant species from Norwich. Whether you fancy becoming a soaring Marsh Harrier, a buzzing Hawker Dragonfly from one of our three rivers, or a Common Hawthorn blooming on Mousehold Heath, we’ll help you choose your perfect piece of local flora or fauna.

🧵 Join Our Costume Workshops

We’ll be running two workshops, one in June and one in July, where we’ll bring our creatures to life together. You don’t need to create a full costume; even a simple mask or headpiece is enough to show spectators who you are.

During the procession, you’ll also carry a placard explaining what your species needs to thrive. Do you rely on tree cover? Fresh water? Wildflower meadows? This is your chance to let Norwich know what matters for your survival.

🎨 Not Into Costumes? You Can Still Join!

If crafting isn’t your thing, you can still take part by dressing in yellow, blue, or green, the Reimagine Norwich colours.

🌈 Everyone Is Welcome

Bring your parents, your children, your friends, the more the merrier.
