We are currently looking for volunteers with good electrical and/or mechanical skills who can fix a wide variety of mostly household items.
We are Repair Café Norwich. We run events around Norwich in community centres and halls once a month on Saturdays from 9.30am - 2.00pm.
About 75% of the items brought to our events are electrical in some form - either mains or battery powered - and a great deal of the rest are mechanical in some way or other. We need more fixers with either or both of these skillsets.
We are a great team of positive, like-minded volunteers, comprising of fixers, admin people, kitchen staff and bakers all working to help save items from landfill, save our visitors money, and share our skills.
