To generate income for the Charity through a balanced mix of sources both yourself and coordinating and supporting the team.

SEND unlocked are looking for volunteers to join our small, hardworking and friendly family, to assist the Charities team in fundraising by:

  • Supporting the creation of a volunteer community fundraising network
  • Supporting the trustees in the creation of a Fundraising Committee
  • Identification of new opportunities to raise funds for the Charity
  • Support in the production of social media materials which encourage members of the public to financially support the Charity
  • Gather data and ‘good news’ stories to support a variety of fundraising channels
  • Encourage members of the public to commit to making legacy arrangements in favour of the Charity
  • Research and apply for relevant funds from grant-making bodies
  • Administer the donor and fundraising database.

As a volunteer you will be expected to adhere to all the Charity's policies and procedures and behave with honesty, integrity, respect and transparency at all times.

Solid IT skills and good written and verbal communication skills are a must. Having an interest in improving access to support for those with any form of Special Educational Need or Disability, and experience of raising funds for Charitable organisations would be of benefit.

Most importantly we're a team who are passionate about what we do, we're looking for people who are keen to muck in, roll up their sleeves and help us to really make a difference.
