We are in need of an enthusiastic administrator to help with core admin tasks for the charity. Can be remote or on site with the team and the ducks.
Key anticipated tasks;
- Taking minutes and actions for the Trustee Board meeting (4 times per year). Evenings but can use the recording to undertake this task if unable to attend.
- Monitor and provide first contact for sponsorship enquries that come into the rescue via email.
- Support with setting up sponsorship (training will be provided of course)
- Managing our busy inbox
- Assisting the Chair of the Charity with admin as required.
We are a small but passionate team and welcome people from all walks of life.
The person will need to be organised, have some admin experience and have a love for animals. They will also need to have a laptop / computer and acess to the internet with intermediate skills in Microsoft packages such as Word.
Critically we are looking for someone who is confident, articulate and can bring enthusiasm to this essential role.

We specialise in providing sanctuary and a forever home for disabled and less abled ducks. We started from our back garden about 5 years ago and it grew from there. There are so many ducks that need help, we just want to give them the happiest life.
We believe all ducks have the right to life, and so a vital part of our duck rescue provides disabled, less able, or elderly ducks with a forever home as part of our sanctuary. Our aim is to give them a free and happy life whilst they are with us and provide them with the respite, palliative care, or medication they need to keep them well whilst they live out the rest of their days
Our rescue is funded and run day to day by husband and wife team, Sally and Tim. We also have some amazing volunteers who are committed to helping at the duck and waterfowl rescue but we are always looking for more.
