Help secure grants & corporate partnerships for our groundbreaking, accessible dating app for the blind, and the wider disability community!

About Us:

Spectrom Connect CIC is an innovative social enterprise dedicated to tackling digital exclusion and social isolation within the blind and visually impaired, and wider disability community. Our flagship project is "Spectrom," a "born accessible," audio-first mobile and web application designed to facilitate authentic friendship, dating, and peer support without the barriers of traditional superficial visual swipe culture.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Volunteer Funding & Corporate Partnerships Manager to help identify and secure alternative income streams during our pre-seed phase. This role is highly collaborative. You will work closely with our Founder (CEO), our Non-Executive Director (NED) for Assistive Technology and Community Engagement, and our Volunteer Digital Marketing Lead to build out our corporate sponsor pipeline and research alternative social enterprise seed grants open to CICs limited by shares.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify specialized social enterprise seed grants, structural trust funding, and regional innovation funds open to pre-revenue CICs.
    • Collaborate with the Founder and the NED for Assistive Technology to develop a structured "Corporate Sponsorship Package" aimed at businesses looking to fulfill their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) targets.
    • Work hand-in-hand with our Digital Marketing Lead to coordinate how corporate partners are promoted, recognized, and integrated across our social media platforms.
    • Actively manage early-stage corporate outreach relationships and pipeline updates.

Skills & Experience Required:

    • Prior experience or strong working knowledge in fundraising, grant application research, bid writing, corporate account management, or B2B sales.
    • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to articulate a compelling social impact story.
    • A self-motivated, proactive mindset with the ability to operate independently within a remote team structure.
    • A genuine passion for disability rights, accessibility, and digital equity.
