We are delighted to have the incredible Whartons Garden Roses opening to the public in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice!

Volunteers needed!

Our newest addition to Great Garden Trail for 2026. We are delighted to have the incredible Whartons Garden Roses, supplier to garden centres and nurseries across the UK, opening to the public in aid of St Elizabeth Hospice. Visitors are invited to walk the site and see the huge variety of beautiful roses grown. With such a large site to cover, we need all hands on deck for this one!

Volunteer roles include entry/tickets, site stewarding and refreshments.

St Elizabeth Hospice has a volunteer mileage/expenses policy which allows volunteers to claim expenses and mileage incurred whilst carrying out their role for the hospice.

At events we use photography and video to help promote the event and also to create memories for those who take part. This comes from a wide range of sources (including other participants and spectators) on a voluntary basis and is sometimes not arranged by St Elizabeth Hospice. Publicity consent is not sought at events; however, if approached by a photographer or videographer we would ask that you participate in good spirits, if you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please politely decline when approached or bring the matter to the attention of a member of our staff. We do, however, reserve the right to use footage or images supplied to us where you might be included.

Please note: to volunteer at this event you must be 18 or over, or be volunteering with someone who is 18 or over.

If you are able to support us at this event, please register your interest or check the St Elizabeth Hospice Website for further details.
