Support Team Volunteer at our Wednesday Evening social club in Norwich supporting programmes for adults with disabilities .
As a Support Team Volunteer your role will be to be part of a team supporting activities for adults with disabilities at The Wednesday Club - a weekly evening social club in Norwich.
Your role might be collecting entry fees, recording attendance and handing out mail, or helping sell confectionary, raffle tickets or hot drinks. It might be supporting people to take part in art and craft activities, play tabletop games or host bingo or karaoke. You will be required to be on site from 6.45pm until 9.15pm. We are building a team of volunteers for this role so it could be a weekly or fortnightly commitment depending on your availability.
You may also have a skill to share - in which case that will add value to our programmes.
In return we offer free, and full training in Disability Awareness and Safeguarding, we cover your travelling expenses and you will be joining a project that has put smiles on faces of people with disabilities in Norwich for nearly 60 years.
