To assist the Lead Youth Worker and Youth Support Workers to deliver positive activities for youth groups in the age range of 5-18 year olds.

Volunteer Support Role:


Managing People, Resources and Finance

• To offer support to the youth work team at the Watton Youth Group

• To offer support to the detached youth work team around Watton.

Service Delivery

• Work alongside the youth work team to deliver activities for the youth groups from age 8-11 and/or 11-18 yrs

• Engage with service users to identify positive activities they would like to participate in

• Be empathetic and responsive to the needs of young people and their families

• Work within confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

• Work to ensure the safety of all participants

General

• To maintain key relationships to high standards at all times

• Work with the youth work team to promote the provision of positive activities for young people

• To undertake personal development and attend any relevant training

• To undertake such other duties as may be delegated or assigned
