Summary
Are you enthusiastic, patient but assertive ? If so we need you to help direct vehicles and organise parking at our first ever Black Dog Fest 2024 !Detailed description
You'll be part of a team of volunteers who will direct parking and traffic flow at the Wroxham Football club on the day of our big event. Patience is required, along with intuition, assertiveness (when called for) and a friendly approach to dealing with members of the public. You'll be helping a community focused volunteer led and run music project that supports members of the community who experience mental health challenges. This will be our biggest event to date, and we'd love you to help us make it a huge success. Interested ? Please get in touch for further details.
About The Black Dog Music Project
The Black Dog Music Project is a user led and run charity which enables people in and around Norwich who experience mental health challenges to discover a passion for music. Members are supported in attending sessions, workshops and in one to one lessons. They can join a band - if they wish - and perform at regular gigs and events.
We believe that playing music helps us to develop confidence, social skills and the ability to face new challenges, which can transfer through to our every day lives. The bands and artists can perform gigs at The Brickmakers in Norwich (along with other events and venues), building resilience and stage craft as well as having a fantastic time in a supportive setting.
