Summary

Our nature conservation tasks are practical activities that help maintain or improve local green spaces for people and wildlife.

Detailed description

Our main roving conservation team runs task days usually every weekday in the Norwich area, and there are other groups operating at weekends across Norfolk. Please search TCV Norfolk on the web for more details of where and when you can join us. No experience is necessary, we provide all the training and equipment you will need. Basically it's a bit like gardening but you will be part of a friendly team making a huge positive difference for biodiversity. You will also learn new skills, meet new people and discover some beautiful new places near you. If you are over 18 and do not have any unspent convictions for serious violent offences, welcome, you can just turn up at any of the published meeting points and join us when it suits you! If you are 16-18 you will need parent/guardian permission, contact us for details (search TCV Norfolk). You can also contact us via the TCV Norfolk website for any questions or to receive our activity programme.

Getting there

Our teams work at sites all over Norfolk, often with free minibus transport provided from central Norwich. See TCV Norfolk on the web for details of where we will be tomorrow!
