Summary

Based on Hall Road, Norwich, Social Supermarket volunteers support the day-to-day running of the shop.

Detailed description

This role will be based in our Social Supermarket on Hall Road, Norwich. It is a varied role and you may be doing lots of things to help us run our shop, including:


  1. Using a till, handling cash and providing a friendly service to our customers.
  2. Restocking shelves, preparing fruit and vegetable bags and organising the stock room.
  3. Signposting people to employment support, budgeting advice etc.
  4. Assisting with food hygiene practices e.g recording temperatures.
  5. Assisting with closing the supermarket at the end of the shift.
