Do you want to work with young children? Looking for some work experience alongside your studies or to enhance your CV?

We are a long established, busy, thriving playgroup renound for our friendly atmosphere running weekly sessions (term time) on an entirely voluntary basis. In 2024, we were awarded the Norfolk Parent & Toddler Group Quality Mark.

We have a vacancy for a young person wanting to conduct a short term (1-2 month) work experience placement.  You will work alongside other volunteers and duties are flexible and can be tailored around your interests, skills or desired career path.

There is also the option to lead structured activities with a specific age group and to network with guest professionals working in the family and children sector if desired.

Working hours Tuesday mornings (school term time) 8.30 or 8.45am to 11.15 or 11.30am approx. No experience necessary - full training and supervision will be given. Uniform provided. Minimum age 16 years. A written reference (for a future employment) or feedback report (for educational purposes) can be provided upon completion. Do get in touch if you have any questions.
