Health and Safety Administrator needed for behind the scenes paperwork for popular playgroup for children under 5

We are a long established, thriving playgroup renound for our friendly atmosphere running weekly sessions (term time) on an entirely voluntary basis at Lingwood Village Hall.

We are seeking a team member who already has some training/ experience/qualifications in Health & Safety to support with some H&S administrative tasks from home.  Volunteer will need their own laptop/PC and access to the Internet.  Some basic knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and OneDrive would be beneficial.   Full guidance and supervision will be provided by the group leader, who is qualified in all aspects of Health & Safety.

Policies, procedures and risk assessments are already in place, these just need reviewing and updating periodically, and new documents produced according to changing requirements/new activities that arise.

This could either be a short term role of 3-6 months or it could be longer term depending on your preferences/availability.

It would be useful if the roleholder could visit our venue at least once, in order to familiarise themselves with our setting and how we work, in order to properly carry out the duties.

Minimum age for this role is 18 years. Do get in touch if you have any questions.
