Do you enjoy bringing smiles to others and getting involved in fun activities? We’re looking for Volunteers to help support and engage patient on the ward.

What you’ll do:

  • Run or help to run social or creative activities
  • Encourage patients to complete simple recreational or chair exercises
  • Chat and spend time with participants
  • Encourage involvement and make activities enjoyable
  • If you have hobby you would like to share with others, please let us know


What we’re looking for:

  • Friendly, patient, and reliable people
  • No experience needed – just enthusiasm!
  • A few hours of your time each week


What you’ll gain:

Activities may be run a group setting within the ward day room, in a bay or 1:1 with patients.


Volunteering for this role involves an ongoing weekly commitment weekdays from 10.30-12.30 approximately.


To volunteer with us, you will need to complete a DBS check, provide two character references and attend an Induction/Training Session before you start.
