Summary
Do you enjoy bringing smiles to others and getting involved in fun activities? We’re looking for Volunteers to help support and engage patient on the ward.
Detailed description
What you’ll do:
- Run or help to run social or creative activities
- Encourage patients to complete simple recreational or chair exercises
- Chat and spend time with participants
- Encourage involvement and make activities enjoyable
- If you have hobby you would like to share with others, please let us know
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, patient, and reliable people
- No experience needed – just enthusiasm!
- A few hours of your time each week
What you’ll gain:

Activities may be run a group setting within the ward day room, in a bay or 1:1 with patients.
Volunteering for this role involves an ongoing weekly commitment weekdays from 10.30-12.30 approximately.
To volunteer with us, you will need to complete a DBS check, provide two character references and attend an Induction/Training Session before you start.
