Volunteers needed to keep a garden at the residential unit tidy and interesting, for the enjoyment of patients, visitors and staff.

As a volunteer gardener, activities will include pruning, weeding, deadheading, watering, clearing dead leaves and, occasionally, new planting.

You can volunteer flexibly in this role, at a time to suit you and the staff who will be supporting you, taking into account weather conditions and other environmental factors.

You can volunteer on your own or in small groups. As a Gardening Volunteer, you will be reliable and self-motivated and have a good basic knowledge of gardening.

To volunteer with us, you will be required to provide contact details for 2 people who can act as your referees and you will need to complete mandatory training.
