We are looking for volunteers to support patients with Exercise Sessions at Willow Therapy Unit at Norwich Community Hospital on Tuesdays from 11:00 - 13:30.

As a Patient Activity Support Volunteer you will be supporting patients to engage in therapeutic group and individual activities during their stay at the Willow Therapy Unit. By carrying out the Activity Support role, you will be helping improve outcomes for patients by enabling a greater number of patients who can access scheduled activities and benefit from increased 1:1 support.


Activities you may be asked to carry out in this role : setting up/tidying away activities, signing patients up for activities, completing evaluations of activities with patients, encouraging/motivating patients to take part in group or individual activities, taking part in consultations to develop an efficient programme of activities for the ward, supporting with serving patient lunches and tidying away after.


This role is currently available on Tuesdays from 11:00 - 13:30 and requires a weekly commitment.
