Are you friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic about supporting others? If so, our clinical teams at Ogden Court Community Hospital need your help!

Volunteers are needed to engage with patients on the ward, with activities such as:

  • offering companionship
  • reading to patients or taking the library trolley round
  • encouraging patients to complete their simple prescribed exercises
  • taking patients out in the garden areas
  • providing practical support such as taking messages to members of staff

Volunteering for this role involves an ongoing commitment of approximately 1-2 hrs a week on a weekday morning or afternoon.

To volunteer with us, we will need you to complete our volunteer recruitment, including our Volunteers' Induction Training, completing a Standard DBS check, and providing 2 character references.

You will be supported throughout your volunteering by a member of staff onsite and your EEC Volunteer Coordinator.
