We are looking for caring and reliable Patient Support Volunteers to help provide comfort, reassurance, and companionship to patients and their families.

What you'll do:

  • Offer a friendly presence and a listening ear
  • Helping patients feel comfortable and supported
  • taking patients out in the garden areas
  • Helping with non-clinical practical support
  • Supporting staff in creating a positive patient experience


What you’ll gain:

  • A meaningful volunteering role making a real difference
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ongoing support and training


Volunteering for this role involves an ongoing commitment of approximately 2-3 hrs a week on a weekday morning or afternoon.


To volunteer with us, we will need you to complete Volunteer Induction Training, a Standard DBS check, and provide us with 2 character references.
