Summary

WISEArchive seeks keen Workflow Co-ordinator volunteer for oral history stories. Should live within easy access to Norwich for attendance at regular meetings.

Detailed description

WISEArchive seeks a workflow coordinator to help with our core work around recording memories of working life. This is an administrative role for someone with good database, IT skills also communication skills as the role involves communication with other WISEArchive volunteers.

Tasks would include: Distributing recordings among volunteers for processing; logging completed work; maintaining databases; undertaking some work on stories if needed; attendance at monthly meetings in Norwich; willingness to keep in regular contact with the management team. Knowledge of posting material on the website would be useful but not essential.

Essential skills: Positivity and ability to communicate clearly with fellow members; good computer skills (Word, Excel, databases etc). Would need to have a reliable computer and broadband access.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the work, social and cultural aspects of Norfolk and to join an enthusiastic group of volunteers. It could suit someone recently retired or someone with sufficient time during the week. Work is from home apart from regular monthly meetings in Norwich. There would be opportunities to help at occasional public events if so wished.

Further information will be given on request and we'll arrange to meet with you if you wish to proceed.
