Business in the Community BITC

Business in the Community (BITC) is a UK charity and business-led membership organisation dedicated to responsible business.  With the proud support of His Majesty The King for over 40 years it has worked with businesses to create positive change for people, places and the planet. In communities across the UK that have long endured hardship, BITC’s Pride of Place programme unites people from all walks of life around a vision for a better future, nurturing collaboration, sustained investment and self-belief to drive action so that millions can thrive in a place they call home. As part of this work, we run the Norwich Business Encounters programme, which sits within BITC’s 'See It Be It' educational outreach initiative. The aim is simple: to help pupils see the wide range of possibilities available to them by connecting schools with businesses and employees who can bring learning to life.
