We would like volunteers who can volunteer to cover one shift each week Mondays 8am to 1pm, but flexibility to cover other days if needed.Detailed description
If you enjoy driving and like meeting people, this is the role for you. You’ll be delivering wheelchairs to people locally or further afield to help them get moving again after illness or injury.
Ideally you will live within 10 miles of the equipment collection point at the British Red Cross office in Great Yarmouth (NR31 9AQ).
We would like volunteers who;
- Can commit on a regular weekly basis.
- Can volunteer to cover one shift each week Mondays 8am to 1pm, but flexibility to cover other days if needed.
- Can commit to volunteering for a minimum of 12 months.
- Have held a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive in the UK and be willing to drive a British Red Cross vehicle.
Please note this role will involve some manual handling and moving of mobility aids equipment.
