Summary

We are looking for our next County Lead Volunteer to lead and support Norfolk Scouts as we move forward with our plans as part of the Skills for Life strategy.

Detailed description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who will lead and support Norfolk Scouts and provide outstanding management support for the County and District teams across the County.

Our Lead Volunteer will work with the HQ Growth & Communities Team to develop sustainable strategies to grow adult volunteering to meet the high demand for scouting across Norfolk.

We want to create the best possible team to lead Scouts across Norfolk and believe that we can achieve this by inviting and involving volunteers from all walks of life, and who bring life-experiences, skills and new perspectives to the role.

Therefore, you don't need experience of Scouting to get involved. Of course, we recognise that a single individual may not possess all of the skills we are seeking and we will consider more than one person to take the role forward as a role-share.

If you, or anyone you know, would make an outstanding County Lead Volunteer for Norfolk, then please get in touch so we can send you the link to either apply yourself, or nominate someone.

Applications close 27th October.
