Summary

Research donated items and photograph them so that they can be put on sale in our eBay online store.

Detailed description

Our eBay team needs volunteers to value donated goods, then photograph and list them for sale - and hopefully fetch good prices.

We'd need you to come in on Thursdays for a couple of hours each week. You could just do the research part or the photography - or both!

Our volunteers assess the condition and value of a wide range of items so that we can make the best of every donation that comes in. We hope you'll spot the gems and help raise funds for the hospice.

Can you.....

  • research and value the wide assortment of items donated
  • photograph, edit and create eye catching pictures for our listings on eBay

You'll get full training in pleasant and friendly surroundings - you'd be based at our eBay office in King's Lynn where there's plenty of free parking.

About The Norfolk Hospice Tapping House

The Norfolk Hospice is committed to providing outstanding care for people in the local community living with life-shortening illnesses and to their carers, family and friends including bereavement support.
The support provided is tailored to the individual, encompassing their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs in an understanding, caring and compassionate way, ensuring dignity is maintained throughout.
Care is delivered at the hospice in Hillington, either in the Inpatient Unit, Day Therapy Unit or via one-to-one sessions at the hospice. Care is sometimes provided in people’s own homes.
The current services cost over £2.5 million per year to run; the NHS funds only 32% of this, with the majority coming from the support of local groups, businesses and individuals.
