Summary
Every Saturday 9am-1pm there is an opportunity to make a difference to autistic children by volunteering with us!Detailed description
This is an opportunity to make a difference to autistic children. They deserve opportunities and support just like any other child, we strive to nurture development and interests while supporting the needs of every individual child. We want to create a supportive and safe environment for the children and their parents and families. You will be expected to support the children in engaging activities as well as offering support to families.
What we will provide to volunteers
🤝 Extra supportAbout Autism Explorers
Autism Explorers is an autism specific community group that supports and nurtures new and existing skills and interests. This group will provide children with opportunities to be part of a community group and work on their fine motor, gross motor, emotional regulation and social skills. Bucket time, story time and other group activities will be offered. There will be plenty of opportunities where parents can be supported by our volunteers and other parents or carers that attend.
