Summary

At Break we believe there should be no limit on what a young person is able to achieve, no matter their start in life. Could you help break down those barriers?

Detailed description

Sessions are open to anyone who identifies as male* and will be run in Norfolk. It is free to register and take part, and full training and support will be provided.

*Ladies - our mentoring scheme is open to you too, but the generosity of Norfolk Community Foundation has enabled us to set up this project specifically to inspire more men to get involved.

What should I expect?

  • Six sessions over a 12-week period
  • Activities from ultimate frisbee to making your own bouncy ball and everything in-between
  • Full support from the Break staff
  • Feeling inspired by an incredible group of young people

What will my involvement do?

The young people in Break’s care face many challenges. They might struggle to budget, find it difficult to build relationships, be held back by low self-esteem, or face barriers when finding work. Helping them through these challenges can be one of the most rewarding thing you will ever do.

And what happens after the 12 weeks?

If you’re interested in continuing to engage with the young people Break supports, then you can join our volunteer mentoring service.
