Norfolk Volunteer/helper

The charity relies on volunteers around the country to store and lend out tandems to people with disabilities or additional needs. In Norfolk there are 4 tandems and 2 tag a longs. The volunteer stores the tandems, responds to enquires and then arranges loans . Each loan is for 2 months, often longer. So in reality there are not many loans every year. The borrower collects and returns the tandems. Ideally most tandems are out most of the time but the volunteer needs to have space to store them as necessary. This is a great opportunity to allow people to try out tandems before deciding if they should buy one. Borrowers are usually very grateful and the role is really rewarding.
