Norwich Chocolate Festival & Forum 2025
Vision: We want to bring more than a chocolate festival. This will be an event which raises awareness, instigates debate and discussion, and encourages action. We want to host a truly interactive, immersive experience with exhibition, discovery experiences and forum as well as showcasing the most positive efforts in supporting change, the cocoa growers and chocolate makers.

We plan our initial event will be held in Norwich, UK in Spring 2025 and build on this year after year with the potential of creating an International Cocoa/Chocolate Change-making Event
We then plan to take elements of this work to other locations and connect to other events in the months and years to follow.

Norwich Chocolate Forum
Friday 11th April
12 Midday ~ 5.30pm

We want to welcome a diverse range of participants from the Chocolate Industry, Hospitality, Education and Civil Society to come together in the sharing of knowledge and ideas. To challenge and be challenged in order to commit to meaningful possibilities of real change in supply chain injustices.

During the Forum there will be three sessions each looking at aspects from the Past, Present and Future of Cocoa and Chocolate. This will cover elements such as: Colonialism, Branding, Local History, Romanticism, Cultivation, Flavour, Production, Environment and Human Rights. We will ask what does Sustainability and Ethics mean in action and how we can avoid the continuation of imperial practices. How do we make sure that the most hidden have a voice in the cocoa supply chain?

We aim to bring those voices in a variety of ways, understanding that it takes time and trust to enable those voices to emerge.
