Project Apis CIC is a community interest company creating accessible and inclusive beekeeping projects across Norfolk and the surrounding region. They work with schools, community groups, recovery programmes, and green spaces to establish small-scale apiaries that support education, wellbeing, and environmental action.
Project Apis are offering a hands-on volunteering opportunity for anyone interested in nature, sustainability, or simply learning something new. Volunteers will have the chance to take part in beekeeping at all stages — from hive checks and honey harvesting to bee health monitoring and seasonal care. No prior experience is needed and full training and guidance is provided.
Volunteering takes place outdoors at a variety of community locations throughout the summer months, and all equipment is supplied. Whether you're looking to build new skills, meet like-minded people, or reconnect with the natural world, this is a unique chance to get involved in something meaningful and rewarding.
