Summary

Help The Bread Kitchen to research the history and heritage of the Cobholm area

Detailed description

You will be part of a research group to help gather information to illustrate a timeline of Cobholm and Great Yarmouth’s marshland and begin to organise the history and heritage of the local area with The Bread Kitchen.

The Bread Kitchen offers a wide range of opportunities to the whole community based around their ‘good to grow’ philosophy. They operate across three different locations and this opportunity will be based at their Cobholm site at Breydon Water.

This is the perfect opportunity to meet new people, who share an interest in our local history and heritage in the Cobholm area.

Volunteers will meet every Friday between 10AM – 12pm, starting at the Cobholm Bread Kitchen site, although meeting locations may change depending on where information will be sourced locally.

You may also be meeting with local residents to gather information and memories. Basic training will be provided and support using archives and illustrating information will be given.
