Summary

Vision Norfolk’s mission is to support people living with sight loss to live active, independent and fulfilled lives.

Detailed description

Our Thursday morning crib activity is a weekly session which runs from 10am - 12 noon every Thursday. It is focused on improving social interaction by providing opportunities for clients to take part in something that they may have thought was inaccessible with sight loss. We are looking for volunteers who:

·      Ideally already have some existing knowledge of the card game crib

  • Can provide assistance and support during the games
  • Can keep score of the games if required
  • Can bring a friendly and encouraging atmosphere to the sessions

We are looking for caring and supportive volunteers who can help to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere.

This is a weekly session, but if you are only able to volunteer on some weeks during the month, please still get in touch.

Becoming a volunteer is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference and support your local community. Vision Norfolk also offers:

  •  Regular advice, support, and training
  • Payment of out of pocket expenses agreed in advance
