Volunteers are needed to assist and marshal the carnival showground over one or two days.
Beccles Carnival dates back to the 1800's and aims to bring the community together, attract visitors, and provide an affordable family event that Beccles can be proud of.
Volunteers make the Carnival happen and will assist with operating the carnival showground:
- Overseeing the arrival and departure of guests
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of guests by managing crowd control
- Responding to emergencies or disturbances according to established protocols
- Providing information and assistance to guests, answering their queries and addressing their concerns
- Checking wristbands at entry points
- Additional tasks/roles may include setting up the venue, restoring it after the event
A full briefing will be given to all volunteers.
