Volunteers are needed to assist and marshal the carnival parade.Detailed description
Beccles Carnival dates back to the 1800's and aims to bring the community together, attract visitors, and provide an affordable family event that Beccles can be proud of.
Volunteers make the Carnival happen and ensure the smooth running of the Carnival Parade.
Volunteers assist with:
- Checking in parade entrants
- Looking after a parade category, which includes making sure any rubbish is removed and the entrants move down to line up safety
- Walking the parade route with your designated floats making sure no gaps form
- Carrying parade donation bucket for the public to contribute
A full briefing will be given to all volunteers.
