Summary
You'll be helping with technical support and exhibition change overs, plus other projects that require hands-on making, doing and problem solving.
Detailed description
Original Projects runs a lively community arts space, community hub, arts based shop and artists studios at Primeyarc in the Market Gates shopping centre at Great Yarmouth and elsewhere. They hold regular exhibitions of arts.
You will be:
- Preparing walls (filling, sanding, painting)
- ‘Snagging’, packing and handling artworks with support and supervision
- Reconfiguring the space (lifting and moving furniture)
- Using basic power tools (drill, laser level etc),
- Cleaning floors/windows before/after changes to exhibitions
- Occasional building of display structures (shelves, plinths, walls) and other similar tasks.
