Guides take visitors around this historic ship based at South Quay in Great Yarmouth, telling them about the history of the ship and of local herring industry.

​The Lydia Eva is the world's last surviving steam-powered herring drifter, once part of the huge herring industry that shaped Great Yarmouth . The ship is also appears in the 2023 film, about a young Willy Wonka. Working with a committed and friendly team, who truly love this ship, you will be taking visitors around the ship, telling them all about the ship and its place in the local fishing heritage. If you love people and have a passion for history, this is a great opportunity. You'll be given training and support so you feel confident in your role.
