Treasurer at Great Yarmouth Civic Society

The Civic Society of Great Yarmouth was formed to spread of civic pride in the town. Its aims are not merely to engender pride in its buildings and architecture but in its environment, its cleanliness, the first impression visitors have when they arrive and its new developments. Great Yarmouth has a rich heritage, a vibrancy, and high potential. The Civic Society of Great Yarmouth hopes, that by bringing people together to work to improve our town, that potential can be achieved.

They are currently seeking a Treasurer who will sit on the Board of Trustees. The role involves signing/approving cheques, providing occasional reports to Trustees and drawing up simple annual accounts.  You dont need to have been a Treasurer before but you will need to be good with numbers and it may help if you have managed budgets or worked within finance/bookkeeping previously, It is not an onerous role and you will receive support from the existing and experienced trustees.
