Summary

Welcoming Volunteers provide a warm greeting to visitors who have come to view this ancient building and to signpost them to information on its history.

Detailed description

A lovely quiet and calm opportunity to meet the people from many different backgrounds who come to visit Great Yarmouth's impressive Minster Church as tourists or for quiet contemplation. Volunteers provide a warm greeting to visitors who have come to view this ancient building and to signpost them to information on its history.

The Minster is currently only open on mornings, but ideally, they would like to extend hours to increase accessibility and open up the Minster more. You don't need to be religious but do need to respect that this is a place of worship, as well as of nearly a thousand years of history.
