A Youth Club is being developed for young people aged 11-18 at the Playing Fields and they are seeking volunteers to become part of the team!
Detailed description
The youth club aims to work with young people to provide leisure opportunites to help them develop their physical, mental and spiritual potential, so that they develop and grow individually and are able to contribute positively to the community.
You will work with the team and provide young people with a safe environment to socialise, have fun, learn new skills and flourish. You'll be supporting the delivery of activities, building positive relationships with young people and enabling them to learn and develop.
You'll get a great sense of achievement helping the young people to flourish and ensure that their energies are directed in a positive direction. This is also a great opportunity for those who may wish to develop a career in working with young people.
It is anticipated that the youth club will start operating in early 2025.
Caister Youth Club is committed to safeguarding young people and they will undertake a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check in order to ensure that you do not have any convictions that mean that you are unsuitable for working with children. Most older convictions and those that do not affect your suitability for working with children are NOT considered relevant and the process is CONFIDENTIAL.
