Are you a lover of literature? A fan of fantastic finds? Dive into a world of books and CDs at our Retail Distribution Centre in Thetford as a Book Room Volunteer!


We’re on the lookout for new members to join our wonderful volunteer team. It’s a great place to meet new people, learn new skills, and raise vital funds for our important work supporting children, families and young people across East Anglia. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your efforts directly contribute to making these resources accessible to others!


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Sorting through literary treasures: fiction, non-fiction, children's books – you name it!
  • Scanning books and CDs to uncover hidden gems and assess their value.
  • Helping organise and arrange items into categories, creating a cosy, book-lover's paradise.
  • Sorting books for sale in our shops, eBay store or for recycling


Could you spare some time to help? Just a few hours a week can make a huge difference, we’d love to have your help! Shifts available are Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays.
