Telephone Admin Volunteers help collect valuable feedback from patients by supporting them to complete an online survey. Office based in Lowestoft.

Telephone Admin Volunteers help collect valuable feedback by carrying out online surveys with patients who have agreed to be contacted over the phone. This feedback is crucial to East Coast Community Healthcare (ECCH) in improving patient experience and this role offers the opportunity to make a fantastic contribution to the work that ECCH do, as well as building your experience in administration skills for a healthcare organisation.

You will be set up with access to an ECCH email address and provided with an ECCH mobile phone to make the calls. Your role will be to contact patients by phone and follow a pre-written script to carry out a feedback survey and accurately record the patients’ responses via an online form. There is no minimum number of surveys to be completed each week so the timings can be flexible. The suggested time commitment is around 2-3 hours a week. Days and times to be arranged with the Admin team you are supporting and can vary from week to week if required, during normal office hours Monday-Friday.

This opportunity will suit someone friendly, approachable and empathetic. You don't need any previous experience in healthcare, but you will need to be comfortable chatting to patients about their experience of medical treatment.

The role involves some online training prior to starting. We also undertake Safer Recruitment checks, which will involve providing 2 character references and an in-person ID check.
