Summary

The role will take responsibility for posting and responding on the following social media channels for the museum, X/Twitter, Instagram, Facebook.

Detailed description

The role is to take on responsibility for posting and responding on the following social media channels for the museum: Twitter now known as X, Instagram and Facebook. It also involves monitoring and responding to Trip Advisor reviews in a timely manner. It is also important to engage with some of the wider aspects of the Broads. You’ll be required to regularly monitor posts to respond to others engaging with them. You will be responsible for producing interesting and engaging content which drives engagement with the museum, alongside promotional posts to sell tickets, boat trips and events. We wish to grow our social media presence and you will be responsible for helping achieve any KPIs for this. Posts must follow the museum’s tone of voice which is defined as positive, as well as containing the key messages as agreed by the Marketing Team. You will be required to join a monthly marketing meeting via Teams. We expect a high percentage of posts in the future will be scheduled rather than having to post something in real time. It will require regular monitoring of posts to respond to others.
