The NNUH Accommodation Office offers 144 ensuite rooms for temporary visitors, and are looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks.
Detailed description
The NNUH are looking for Volunteers to support the Trust Accommodation Office, and we are looking for volunteers who can assist in a busy environment and are resilient to the challenges of a hospital setting.
We welcome people who can support staff, patients and visitors with care, compassion, positivity and empathy.
As an NNUH volunteer, you can expect to be provided with full training and ongoing support in order to aid you in delivering a much valued and crucial service.
The Accommodation Office offers 144 ensuite rooms with shared kitchen/living areas available for single and double occupancy.
They offer a temporary home on site to junior doctors on rotation, on-call doctors, locums, nurses, visitors on exchanges and training courses, as well as staff who are relocating.
The team are currently looking for volunteers to assist with a varient of tasks, Monday to Friday (days and times to suit individual) including:
- Sweeping leaves and tidying flower beds
- Cleaning of grounds furniture
- Accepting and sorting deliveries onsite
- Delivering post and parcels (size depending)
- Lost property management
